Partners
Almost everything we do is done by someone else: hospitals, clinics, schools, rehabilitation services and researchers, most of whom we have worked with for years. These are some of them, with the year we began.

The independent research institute that runs the Turing Registry. Since 2021 we have worked with Frothly on independent oversight of optical implants: its Blackwall programme evaluates the perception models in Kiroshi Opticals implants before release, and its Lazarus archive preserves the firmware of implants their makers no longer support.
- Oxenfurt University, Faculty of Philosophy, since 2022: the ethics of seeing through a device, and the Bystanders report.
- International Low Vision Research Consortium, since 2017.
- Open Ocular Interface Working Group, which drafts our open standards, since 2018.

Many of these partners accept gifts directly. Because we do not accept donations ourselves, we are happy to suggest one if you would like to give; write to info@kiroshi.org. A gift to a partner does not reduce our grant.
