The job

The team

Continuity has nine staff in San Francisco and Tokyo, led by Yusuf Oduya. It works with repair partners and aftercare clinics in four countries and runs a support line in English and Japanese.

What you will do

  • Manage grants to repair partners in the United States and Canada, including visits and reporting.
  • Keep the spares library stocked: buy remaining stock from makers, arrange for parts to be recovered from explanted devices with consent, and commission new parts from published designs.
  • Assess applications to the replacement fund with the programme’s clinical adviser.
  • Work with Frothly’s Lazarus programme on firmware deposits and documentation.

What we are looking for

  • Experience of managing grants, contracts or a service with many partners.
  • Comfort with technical detail. You do not need to be an engineer, but you will need to talk to them.
  • Experience of disability, chronic illness or living with a medical device, your own or someone close to you, is welcome and will be valued.

How to apply

Send a CV and a letter of no more than two pages, saying why you want the job and what you would bring to it, to careers@kiroshi.org with the job title in the subject line. We reply to every application. If you need the details in another format or any adjustment to the process, write to the same address.
